Local Public Libraries - Check your local Long Island public library if you are a student
(and library card holder) from either Nassau
or Suffolk County. For Suffolk County,
there is also access to a
Virtual Reference Collection which offers electronic open access to 250 regional,

WorldCat.org offers a simplified proximity search by zip code. Enter or edit the zip code and it will display in miles the closest library, including other public or academic institutions across the United States.
NovelNY is a service available to any New York State resident. Log in using any NY Public Library Card or NYS Driver's License number. Access numerous databases, local national and international newspapers and magazines, a virtual reference collection and much more.
Locate materials from any Long Island library, regardless of County designation. These can be borrowed either through the Research Loan Program or through interlibrary loan.

WorldCat is a library catalog for materials owned by libraries worldwide. For comprehensive research of library collections, search both our catalog and Worldcat. Current Dowling students, faculty, and staff may request materials not owned by our library through interlibrary loan.
