Lost Books & Other Items
An item is considered lost when:
- You report to the Library that it is lost, or
- It is overdue for more than 21 days
Lost items will result in a block being placed on your student account.
You will be charged the following:
*You will be billed the actual replacement cost of the item if it is equal to or greater than $100.00.
Replacing a Lost Item
You have the option of buying a new replacement copy for the item you have lost, subject to the approval of the Collections Development Librarian. Any replacement must be the same format and the same or later edition as the original. Check with the circulation staff to determine the exact edition you have lost.
