Citing Your Resources

Doing ethical research means citing sources. It is critical to credit writers for their work and their contributions to your research. To not do so is unethical and leads to plagiarism - unintentionally or not. Here are some sources to help you cite properly and to avoid the problem of plagiarism.

The Long Island Historical Journal is indexed by PERSI - PERSI is not avaialable at Dowling College.

The Long Island History Journal is a peer-reviewed academic online publication, published by the Center for Global & Local History at Stony Brook University. It continues the Long Island Historical Journal.

New York History is indexed for each volume at the end of that volume. There is NO general index. Table of Contents Information 2007 - Present
