Primary Sources

Primary sources are original documents that were written or created in the time being studied. Primary sources about a person would be letters, diaries, articles, or books written by that person, interviews with that person, as well as newspaper articles about them from the time period in which they lived. These can be difficult to come by, but there are several ways to locate them.
