Credo Reference
Credo is a database made up of hundreds of encyclopedias and reference sources. It’s a great first stop to help you define and understand your topic.

Reference Books

This search takes you to a selection of items in the library that deal with the idea of fundamentalism. It’s a very broad search but it will give you a sense of the scope of what’s out there:


The trick will be refining your topic and doing more research using unique keywords that describe what you want to write about. Some examples from this class might include using keywords such as: “Christian Right”, Iran , “Muslim Brotherhood”, etc.

Find Articles

You’ll search the library’s databases to find articles on your topic from newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals. Think carefully about what keywords you use to describe your topic and use techniques like phrase searching and truncation to find better results.

Citing Your Resources
